RC Sherriff Exhibition - now showing

5th April - 5th July 2017

RC Sherrif was possibly Hampton Wick’s most famous resident.

This fascinating free exhibition is now showing at Hampton Wick Library. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn all about this remarkable man whose works range from Journey’s End to The Invisible Man.

Sherriff was a resident of Hampton Wick who came back from active service in the trenches of World War I to write ‘Journey’s End’ which is still performed on stage and is about to become a major feature film.

His later career took him to Hollywood where he wrote the screenplay for The Dam Busters.

Roland Wales has written a biography of Sherriff. He gave an illlustrated talk for The Friends of Hampoton Wick Library and has also provided the material for this fascinating exhibition being staged in the Library.

Don’t miss the exhibition.
